Meet our leadership team
As president, Neal Taylor provides leadership to the land services team though his experience and vision. Neal is engaged in strategic partnerships with many industry service providers to ensure clients receive the most optimal service possible. Neal leads a leadership team responsible for the effective growth and responsiveness of the Taylor Land team and has an interactive approach to the daily functions at the office and in the field.
Neal Taylor is a graduate of Olds College, Sait and Mount Royal, bringing nearly two decades of surface land experience to Taylor Land Services. Clients have access to Neal at all times, which means consistent services and effective communication.
As VP of Operations and Business Development, Jim is responsible for initial stage project planning and client communication. Jim is focused on external relationships while maintaining an active role in stakeholder relations. Jim is responsible for the coordination of all mediation and arbitration situations.
Jim has a degree from Montana State University in Agriculture and has been involved in both field and management positions with multinational, intermediate and junior oil and gas companies for 30 years. Holding a P. Land from the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen and a RLP from the American Association of Petroleum Landmen, Jim has often acted as a qualified expert witness in many Surface Rights Hearings and Court of Queens Bench proceedings. He is a former instructor of Surface Rights at Mount Royal College and was with the Olds College Land Agents Advisory Board for 15 years. Jim has extensive experience in heavy oil, coal bed methane and sour gas. His experience with corporate management and active fieldwork are a major asset to clients with short time lines and challenging projects.
As Director of Administration, Jaclyn is responsible for all aspects of administration, auditing and maintaining client relationships. She works closely with our land agents and third party relations to resolve any issues that may arise thought out the length of a project.
Jaclyn has created a foundation of knowledge by maintaining a high level of commitment to excellence and lifelong learning. She stays on top of current industry practices as well as industry contacts by maintaining a membership with CAPLA (Canadian Association of Petroleum Land Administration).
In 2008 Jaclyn graduated from Mount Royal University earning her certificate in administration. In addition to sharing our commitment to a very personal and hands-on approach to service, Jaclyn is also an incredibly detail oriented person which will really benefit our clients.
